In my effort to "catch-up" with what other people have been up to Cam-wise I have been reading blogs. Most of them have been quiet this last week or so, so against my better judgement I went over to check out the "Neuro-bords". I usually don't read them because I get about the same level of information, and entertainment value there as I would by watching a couple of retarded people fist fight. I saw a couple of names there that I remember seeing from "way-back" that I haven't see posting in a long time. So I read them. And I'm pretty sure that it isn't really them. Just another Neuro-troll trying to aggitate the ignorant most likely.

Ya know what? I was about to go off and start writing a long rant about what new recruits need to look for in message board posts, like dates, and time stamps, and how to compare writing styles in messages over time, etc,etc.... But screw it. I learned it the hard way with out getting eaten alive.

Sink or swim.....

I will retract my attitude alittle bit for one exception though. If you are a person who has "mental problems" or are going to therapy, or are taking psychoactive drugs, then go away. This could hurt you. And I for one, am not the guy to help you pick up the little bits of your mind if you avoid this advice. And whats more, I don't particually care to have to deal with you, while you are suffering from a "break down" or whatever.

Ok, so I was just recently reminded (forceably) that I'm supposed to be keeping this thing up to date. And yeah, its been like a month since i posted anything. But to be compleatly honest, there has'nt been a whole lot going on lately....
The last assignment that I've gotten was a couple weeks ago, and it was one of those psych-evaluation type assignments (the ones that I've allways considered busywork, or "place-holder" assignments). I like to think of those as the 'cams way of letting us know that it's still thinking of us, and waiting for something better to come around.
I've allways prefered the "go out and do something" type of assignments. The sit around and think about "stuff" and write a report about it type get on my nerves. Aside from the wondering if anyone is actually reading them, I can't help but to wonder if I'm answering in the right manner. If I dont know what the rules are, how can I still get a good grade?
That sort of takes me back to when I was actuall reading The Magus. I kept on thinking to myself "Why the hell would he do THAT!","What kinda people actually THINK this way?!", and "If that was me, I'd sure do it differently....". Of course, that was pretty early on in my 'cam career. I really hated that book. But now I know why. That doesn't make me think that it is any better than I did before, I still think its an awful book. But figuring out SOME of the rules makes swallowing the rest of the guff a little easier.
